Open call for young people, within the project “Images for the region”, through which cultural values of the region from: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and North Macedonia will be spread and exchanged, through photography.
People aged 18-25 have the right to participate.
Young people who have never traveled around the region, people with disabilities / or with fewer opportunities, will have an advantage during the selection.
The organizer’s idea is to photograph life in the local community, through the following topics:
A. Portrait
B. Folklore, the life and customs of the local population
C. Landscape (through which it will be reflected and best represented from the point of view of
the participant the environment)
Photos must have dimensions: 20×30 cm, with a format of 300dpi.
Files must be named appropriately: Topic_Author Name_Photo Name_Country
Example:
A_Jovan Jovanovski_Through my window_MKD; B_Bajram Shabani_Love_MKD etc.
Use only English alphabet (Latin script) for file names.
Send appropriately tagged photos electronically to: photoclubkumanovo@gmail.com
Each participant can send a maximum of 5 photos.
The selector will review the photos and contact the best 5 for further cooperation.
The selected 5 participants will have the opportunity to visit a 2-day workshop here in North Macedonia, a 3-day advanced workshop in Serbia, get to know the different cultures, history, tradition and folklore of the places where the workshops will be held and increase their artistic potential at expression through photography. Photo submission deadline is: February 20, 2020.
