fc kumanovo marked the international day of persons with disabilities

Through the establishment of a memorandum of cooperation with the ‘Poraka Nasha’ Day Center in Kumanovo, last month saw the realization of the long-desired idea of including people with disabilities in the sphere of art and photography. Fueled by a new dose of inspiration and creativity, we initiated preparations in anticipation of December 3rd – the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

We had the honor of being part of a wonderful atmosphere during the celebration of this significant day. The event included photos capturing the friendships and daily activities of people with intellectual disabilities, along with a collage of their portraits created by members of the ‘Kumanovo’ Photo Club. On December 6, Poraka Nasha celebrated its 12th birthday, marking years of existence and successful work. The day was highlighted by a photo projection prepared by our club.

With the goal of changing public awareness of this particular category of citizens, the users of ‘Poraka Nasha’ will participate in the ‘Malinski Photo Festival’ project. Workshops and a photo-safari near the city of Kumanovo are planned, where the users of Poraka Nasha, alongside the members of the Photo Club ‘Kumanovo,’ will delve into the realm of artistic photography.

Their interest and desire to learn serve as motivation for the Photo Club ‘Kumanovo’ to embark on (or realize) many more new projects.
