The exhibition “Women and Photography 2024” is a true testament to the talent and creativity of women photographers in Macedonia. Opened on International Women’s Day, this exhibition not only marks this significant day, but also celebrates the inclusion and success of women in the field of photography.
With the participation of 48 photographers and with more than 270 photographs, the exhibition offers a rich overview of different styles, themes, and perspectives. Each photograph is unique and carries a strong message, highlighting the individual visions and experiences of each author. The selection of 50 photographs was a challenge, but each of them represents a unique aspect of women’s power and influence in the modern world of art.
This exhibition is not only an opportunity for us to marvel at the photographic artistic expression of women, but also an opportunity to remind ourselves of the importance of equality in art and in every aspect of our society. This is a moment when we should recognize and respect women as creators of art and as important participants in our community.
We thank all the participants for their inspiration and involvement in this exhibition, as well as the visitors who will take home with them the vision of women in photographic artistic creation. Their works will continue to inspire us and remind us of the importance of the female perspective in art.
