Vladimir Jovanovski, a member of the photo club Kumanovo, has achieved the MPSA title, making him the sole internationally recognized master of photography in Macedonia. Awarded by the Photographic Society of America (PSA), the MPSA title is a prestigious recognition held by only a select number of photographers worldwide. This title symbolizes the pinnacle of Jovanovski’s twenty years of dedication and work in the field of photography.
Until now, Vladimir Jovanovski has showcased his work in 35 countries, earning over 100 awards and recognitions. He received notable distinctions such as being named one of the 100 most influential photographers today by the Macao Photo Union and the 2018 World Photographer of the Year by the Photo Union of Turkey. His most significant successes are attributed to the projects “The Other One Hundred” and “For Macedonian Photography.”
Jovanovski served as a member and president of the Photo-cinema club “Kozjak” in Kumanovo. Currently, he actively participates as a member of the Photo club Kumanovo and serves as the director of the Malinsky Photo Festival. Additionally, he holds an honorary membership in Image Sans Frontier, Image Colleague Society, and Kragujevac Photo Club.
Furthermore, Jovanovski has taken on the role of a representative and liaison officer for PSA, GPU, and ISF in the Republic of Macedonia. He also serves as the active president of IAAP. In his approach to photography, he transcends the role of a mere recorder, sensitively perceiving the space, light, ambiance, and life around him. Constantly in search of these elements, he delves into his inner emotions, which he skillfully conveys through his thematic work over the last few years.
