Marko Vrdoljak is one of the most renowned representatives of modern Croatian photography. To date, he has published 10 monographs: “Zagrebačka županija,” “Nacionalni park Brijuni” (2010), “Nevjerojatna Hrvatska,” “Nerezine,” “Nacionalni park Risnjak,” “Zagreb,” “Lošinj Archipelago,” “Veličina skromnoga,” a photo monograph showcasing the beauty of the female body titled “1/250 sec., f16, xx,” and “Nacionalni park Brijuni” (2016). Vrdoljak has showcased his works at hundreds of exhibitions in Croatia, the USA, Canada, Russia, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Iceland, and other countries. He has received several awards and recognitions, with one of the most prestigious photography awards in Croatia, the “Tošo Dabac,” standing out for the significant contribution he has made to the affirmation of photography art in general.
