In a series of five workshops, twenty citizens of Kumanovo had the opportunity to learn the basics of street photography and enhance their photography skills and ambitions through practical work in the field. Participants will use their photos to enter a photo contest and exhibition scheduled for October, aiming to document and celebrate the cultural and spiritual heritage of Kumanovo, which marks its 500th anniversary this year.
The photo workshops were conducted in collaboration with the civic center ActiveUm and NUCC Trajko Prokopiev – Kumanovo, as part of the #KulturaZaKumanovo #KumanovoZaKultura project. This initiative is a component of the Regional Program for Local Democracy in the Western Balkans (ReLOaD), funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), with co-financing from the Municipality of Kumanovo.
