On Saturday, October 5, 2019, the FIAP exhibition center of the “Novi Sad” Photo Club will host an exhibition featuring two series of photographs:

  • “55” by Danilo Cvetanović (AFIAP, MF FSS, ULUPUDS, Serbia)

Vladimir Jovanovski, born in 1983, is a prominent Macedonian photographer and the most successful representative of Macedonian photography at numerous international exhibitions worldwide. He has exhibited in 35 countries, earning over 100 awards and recognitions. Named one of the 100 most influential photographers today by the Macao Photo Union and the 2018 World Photographer of the Year by the Photo Union of Turkey, he considers his projects “The Other One Hundred” and “For Macedonian Photography” to be his greatest successes.

Previously a member and president of the Photo-cinema club “Kozjak” in Kumanovo, he is now an active member of the Photo Club “Kumanovo.” He serves as the director of the Malinsky Photo Festival and holds honorary memberships in Image Sans Frontier, Image Colleague Society, and Kragujevac Photo Club. Additionally, he is a representative (liaison officer) of PSA, GPU, and ISF for the Republic of Macedonia and the active president of IAAP.

In his approach to photography, Jovanovski goes beyond mere documentation, capturing the essence of the space, light, ambiance, and life around him. Constantly searching, he explores inner emotions that he conveys through his photographs, particularly focusing on thematic work in recent years.
