On June 13, 2025, in the premises of the “Dr. Vićentije Rakić” Library in Paraćin, Serbia, a new solo exhibition of artistic photography by Vladimir Jovanovski, member of photo club Kumanovo, was officially opened. This marks his second solo exhibition in Paraćin, once again organized by the renowned ArtTeam photo group, led by Bojan Petrović.

Titled “Benin”, the exhibition offers a compelling visual narrative of everyday life, spirit, and authenticity of the people of West Africa. The works are the result of Vladimir’s recent journey to Benin, during which he captured raw, emotional, and vibrant moments from a world geographically distant but deeply connected through shared humanity.
The photographs portray children with wide eyes and genuine smiles, scenes from local markets, lively streets, traditional rituals, and everyday life. Each image tells a story—warm, real, and deeply human. One photo in particular, “Mystified Mob”, drew special attention, showing a group of children joyfully chasing a drone in awe—a powerful symbol of tradition meeting modernity.
Through this exhibition, Vladimir not only brought Benin closer to the audience but also reaffirmed the power of photography as a universal language. His work builds bridges between cultures and showcases empathy and dedication to documentary storytelling.
Photo Club Kumanovo proudly congratulates Vladimir on this outstanding exhibition, once again proving that our members are active and recognized on the international scene.
